The Chamber of Commerce and Culture of Belgium and Luxembourg in Peru or CCBLP Chamber or Chamber of Belgium and Luxembourg in Peru

 

It is a nonprofit association registered in the Peruvian Public Registries since its creation in March 2014. It has an operating license and other elements legally required in Peru. It is duly indicated in the repertoires of institutions and organizations such as:

  • The Federation of the Belgian Chambers The Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg

  • The Permanent Delegation of the European Union in Peru The Embassy of Belgium in Peru

  • He is a member of the EuroCámaras or Chamber of the European Chambers officially registered in Peru.

 

It has collaboration agreements and protocols with:

  • The Belgo-Peru Chamber or Belgo-Peru Chamber in Belgium

  • The Chamber of Commerce and Tourism of Peru in Luxembourg

Honorary Chairman

 

In general, it’s the Belgian ambassador in Lima who bears the title of Honorary President of the Chamber of Commerce and Culture of Belgium and Luxembourg in Peru. Currently, it is Mr. Michel Dewez, Ambassador of His Majesty the King of the Belgians, who was offered the title of Honorary President of the Cámara de Comercio y Cultura de Bélgica y Luxemburgo en el Perú. He is also responsible for the diplomatic mission of Economic Affairs of Luxembourg in the country. He is the founder of the Belgian 'Business Club' in Peru

Belgian, born in Brussels in 1956, French speaking, multilingual, married to a Belgian.

Officer of the Order of the Crown by His Majesty King Albert II in July 2012.

Founded his first company in Peru in 1989  when he set residence in the country, before that he lived about six months a year in the country since 1983.

Travel agent and the first Belgian contact in Peru. Officially licensed tourist guide with extensive knowledge of the country and the pre-Columbian cultures.

Author of books such as "Le Pérou Empire du Soleil ...et de la Lune", "Les Belges du Pérou par eux-mêmes et G.V", Geo-tourist maps of the country, etc..

From 1999 to 2009, manager of the Inkanato restaurant with the initiation of the Novoinka ® kitchen.

Project designer Inka Llacta®, an Archeosite and historical theme park on Peru, a project based on local material and intangible heritage.

Founder of the Association for Belgians in Peru: the  ‘Belgo-Club’

Originally, computer scientist, but changed course towards tourism, cultural associations and led the NGO CEIPAL for ten years. Interested in local education and educational agreements with Peru and other universities, plunged back into study to get his masters degree with honors  in Education stating tourism and culture in 2014 at the Faculty 'Facultad de Teologia Pontificia y Civil de Lima’.
